Website Blocker
A free website blocker that turns itself on when you start working.
You should not have to remember to block distractions. GoFlow's free Focus Guard extension blocks your list automatically the moment a deep work round begins, then steps aside when it ends.
GoFlow's Focus Guard is a free website blocker that turns on by itself when you start a focus round and off when it ends. You pick the sites once inside GoFlow, and they are blocked only while you work. No subscription, no account.

Open GoFlow freeWhy most site blockers fail
The usual blocker asks you to flip a switch every time you sit down. That switch is exactly the willpower you are short on at 2pm. So you skip it "just this once," open one tab, and lose the afternoon. The other kind of blocker locks sites all day, which is overkill when you also need those same sites between sessions.
GoFlow ties blocking to the work itself. Sites are blocked when, and only when, a deep work round is running. No daily setup, no all-day lockout. The block follows your focus.
How Focus Guard works
- Pick your sites once. The blocklist lives right inside GoFlow, so you edit it in the app and the extension reads from it. No separate dashboard.
- Start a round. The moment deep work begins, Focus Guard blocks every site on your list across all your tabs.
- Break or finish. When the round ends or you step into a break, the sites open back up. The trap closes only while you are working.
A web page on its own cannot block other sites, which is why the blocking lives in a small browser extension. It is free, takes about a minute to install, and needs no store account. Full steps are in our guide on how to block distracting websites while you work.
What you can block
Anything that pulls you off task: social feeds, news, video, shopping, forums, even a specific subreddit or channel. Most people block five to ten sites and feel the difference in a single session.
Pairs with the timer and the guard
Blocking is one of three layers GoFlow uses to protect a session. The deep work timer sets the block of time, Focus Guard closes the obvious doors, and the in-app distraction guard flags it when you wander to a tab that is not blocked, so the time you log is time you actually worked.
Free and private
Focus Guard is free, with no subscription and no account. Your blocklist stays on your device. GoFlow does not track your browsing or send it anywhere.
Close the tabs that cost you the afternoon
Free, automatic, and only on while you work.
